LanSpy

LanSpy is basically a security scanner for networks that lets the users get different data about the computers. It is a very easy to use IP scanner which is able to detect an IP and get information about the systems. The user interface is intuitive and easy and shows the information like the users logged in, the local and global groups, MAC addresses, password policies, TTL and RRT, DNS names, opened files, services and processes, shared resources, UDP and TCP ports and various network statistics.
LanSpy has been developed to gather other information about remote computes such as, Ping, domain names, NetBIOS Names, MAC addresses, Server information, Domain (workgroup) information, domain controllers, remote control, time, disk, transport, users, logged users, shared resources, security options and event log. With the help of LanSpy one can learn about the remote computers pretty easily.
LanSpy is essentially meant for auditing your network for security reasons and to view the processes on different remote computers. To show the list of all the applications installed in the workstations and to be able to detect shares, open ports and user accounts. LanSpy however conforms only to Windows 2000, windows XP and Windows 2003. The services of LanSpy are displayed with ports.
